FOCUS can be used by persons of all ages and in all
career stages. It is designed for use by students (high school and
up), working adults seeking career change, unemployed adults, moms
returning to the workplace and mature adults planning their retirement. |
| Can I use FOCUS more than one time? |
| |
Yes, you do not have to complete FOCUS in one session.
If you do not complete your use on the first session, you can return
to use it again. FOCUS always saves your records so you can pickup
where you left off earlier. |
| Is there a charge for using FOCUS? |
| |
If your institution subscribes to FOCUS there is
not a fee to use the program. Otherwise, you must pay an $39.00 registration
fee to use the program. |
| Will FOCUS save my results after I use it? |
| |
Yes, FOCUS will save all your information under your
confidential user identification and password. Each time you return
to use FOCUS, the Main Menu will show you which phases you have completed
so you don't have to repeat them. That means if you wish to use FOCUS
again you can pick up where you left off. |
| Do I get printouts of my results? |
| |
Yes, FOCUS will print personalized summary reports.
These reports can be found under the title "reports" on
the main menu. Detailed occupational reports can also be printed. |
| Are my results and personal registration information kept confidential? |
| |
Yes, all your results and registration information
are kept completely confidential using 128-bit encryption. Please
read our privacy policy for more details. |
| What do I do if I have forgotten my password? |
| |
Simply use our automated password retrieval feature.
This feature can be found under help in the user login box. Your password will be emailed to the address
you registered with. |
